Rules for processing personal data of natural persons
We hereby wish to inform you that, in connection with the entry into force on 25 May 2018 of the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – Official Journal of the EU L 119 – hereinafter: GDPR), PIXEL Sp. z o.o. shall ensure the standards of protection and proper handling of personal data as specified in those provisions.
In accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of the GDPR, we inform persons whose data the Company holds that:

PIXEL Sp. z o.o. – registered office: 85-862 Bydgoszcz, ul. Bogdana Raczkowskiego 5 – is the Controller of Personal Data, which it obtained as a result of performing contracts concluded with you, maintaining correspondence, and conducting business activities, i.e. acquiring data as part of the contracting process, collecting data that is publicly available (e.g. from the National Court Register, CEIDG) and data obtained from third parties.

The personal data held by PIXEL Sp. z o.o. is processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:
- performance of contracts (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR),
- fulfilment of legal obligations incumbent on the data controller (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR),
- pursuit of the legitimate interests of PIXEL Sp. z o.o. or a third party (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Examples of such processing purposes include: marketing of PIXEL Sp. z o.o.’s own services and promotion of the Company’s activities and new initiatives among clients bound by contracts with it, as well as pursuing claims arising from business operations.

Your personal data is not subject to automated decision-making by PIXEL Sp. z o.o., including profiling.

Persons whose data the Company processes have the right to:
- access their data and receive a copy thereof,
- rectify (correct) their data,
- erase their data (subject to the conditions specified in Article 17 GDPR),
- restrict the processing of their data,
- data portability (subject to the conditions specified in Article 20 GDPR),
- object to the processing of their data,
- lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).

Personal data will be stored for the duration of the contract and for the period required by law (e.g. tax regulations, accounting regulations), as well as for the period of limitation of claims arising from the contract.

Personal data may be shared with entities authorised to receive it under applicable law, as well as with subcontractors bound to PIXEL Sp. z o.o. by data processing agreements, such as law firms and IT companies.

PIXEL Sp. z o.o., as the Data Controller, declares that it does not transfer and does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country, with the exception of Google’s email service; however, Google LLC has joined the “Privacy Shield” programme (http://www.privacyshield.gov/list), thereby meeting the requirements of the GDPR and ensuring an adequate level of data protection.
